The DC and nyc media , particularly the Washington DC press, is run by some of the most arrogant, narcissistic, snide and shallow people on earth. As a country we’ve spent decades paying the price of having these men (and a handful of women) shape the narrative. So have many other countries .

Ok so (SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER)....was the film just showing a screenwriter considering different ideas for a story in her head? Perhaps I’m a brainless plebian but I was really confused. 

Shes typical of a surprising number of well off white female writers. They will fight tooth and nail to ingratiate themselves to the boys club and present themselves as brave iconoclasts when all they’re doing is reinforcing the status quo.
