@markedward: The muscles in the neck (well, some of it) are still intact. If the dog were to move those muscles, I think it would be enough to cause that jumpy twitching motion, especially if the blood tubes are immobile enough to provide some leverage. But I'm no expert in canine physiology.

I saw a great movie about this probe in Osaka Science Museum's planetarium last year. It was such a touching story about the little probe that traveled so far all alone in space. I really cried.

The next generation of scanners will have the option to directly upload to Facebook. True story.

@Gary Carmody: Maybe I read the article wrong, but it also says that he threatened her. I'd have to imagine that the main reason he went to jail was because of the threats. The cutting of dresses and posting of naked pics was just icing on the cake for the judge.

I'm surprised they haven't made this already. How hard could it be to put some mail server software on their servers? Well, whatever. I'm happy with Gmail.
