Truthfully, it’s -very- uncommon for next-gen consoles to have titles that really -sell- the hardware and make clear that it’s worth upgrading at the start.

Fuck the CCP

Is there a Chrome extension that gets rid of the shitty slideshow on Kinja?

Is there information on how much data a typical kotaku page uses? This page alone has 7 ads and an autoplaying video

1) Yeah it sucks, but it makes sense, helps them to gauge the hype for the game and if nothing else, sales-tactics are sales-tactics. I’m one of the suckers that pre-ordered (not to imply even a sliver of regret) and come Friday I’m going to be up all night doing lines... and playing the Warehouse Demo!

Still need them to make a Batman Beyond game, but this could be good too.

He means diversity in opinion about the most important issues of the day. While most African Americans would probably say institutional racism and police brutality are key issues, you don’t have the same solidarity with Latinos. Central Americans might be more concerned about refugees, while Mexican Americans more

When that represents 1/7 of the playable launch roster, that’s a huge issue also.

Those can both be problems.

Both things suck

The Ant-Man DLC for Lego Marvel’s Avengers was a PS4 timed exclusive. Even after the timed exclusivity ended, it only got released on PC several weeks late, and never came to Xbox.

cannot blame Sony for doing so; same reason why Bezos doesn’t pay Amazon workers more: doesn’t have to!

I mean Microsoft has already come out and said that all Xbox One accessories will work just the same on Series X. It’s another little indicator of their respective shifts in strategy. Microsoft is leaning hard on the generation-blurring games-as-a-service model, and Sony is hewing a little bit closer to their

Im black, if you’re implying otherwise. All I’m saying is, titles like that only further divide the human race. Just post your blogs and thoughts without the vitriol

I didn’t say that that I thought this was true. I said that this is what a lot of the talk ended up centered around for the last month after it became clear that SSD speed was the only spec the PS5 bested the Xbox Series X in. So this was Sony’s chance to prove all their fans right, that they did indeed make the right

spend hundreds of dollars to play Skyrim and Grand Theft Auto V again.

Not so sure about that. Haven’t done the math, but there were a few Bethesda games of which at least one is definitely not exclusive, an NBA game (definitely NOT exclusive), Hitman (again...), and Ghostwire is already confirmed non-exclusive. A fair percentage of these are non-exclusive, and there are more that may be

Well they listed GTA5 as coming to PS5 and we know it’s coming to the new Xbox as well.

Some cool stuff but all in all I’m somewhat unimpressed. Hard to see how what we saw here is any different from what Microsoft showed, though I’m sure many people will claim otherwise. Mostly not gameplay, mostly just stuff that is prettier versions of games that could totally have been launched on current gen.

Gonna be honest, I’d prefer a D3 right about now. The foundation they have for D2 is so utterly busted and so not set up for a long-term update model that it’s just ridiculous. I’d rather them make a new base from scratch that’s designed for the long-haul MMO-esque model they originally planned for with D1. Also fuck
