As a consumer I'd say no to an Early Access program. While there have been a few success stories there have been too many cases of mis-sold products, abandoning of the game by the devs and being of a much lower quality. Betas are different as they are usually free and require no money upfront (pre-orders can be

Perfect match for the "forever alone" pod.

I don't think there's enough room to effectively masturbate in there.

I'm just trying to figure out how I can get employed at Gawker doing nothing but reposting segments from TV shows I watched the night before.

It is literally impossible for me to play Golden Eye on the wii. I need to hold the wii-mote in my left hand or I can't aim for crap. However that means I am forced to put the analog stick in my right hand. The issue with this is the analog stick is used to control movement (forward, back, strafe). To control that

Thank goodness... we're vastly underrepresented, so it's nice to see someone asking the tough questions.

43% of gamers are under represented lefties that are sick of companies not adding left handed functionality to their games because "it would cost too much" or "it'll double the workload" or some BS like that

Dear Miyamoto

I've had the same problem for years - especially the nunchuck issue because I've become instrinsically inclined to use a stick in my left hand but it's also my dominant hand so asking for fine gestures or holding anything like a pencil is counterintuitive. So there really is a no-win on this because at least one hand

Not only does regular cleaning help your computer run cooler, but, as an added bonus, it might also help it run quieter too. A combination of your computer's fans turning easier without the added wind resistance of dust, and less of a "sucking" sound on your intake vents, especially if you've got filters on them.

I repair computers for a living... and I've somehow managed to not get the dead mouse computer yet... thanks for giving me something to look forward to there.

Man, Microsoft really needs to push the facts. There is NO penalty to having it plugged in. If it's plugged in on a game that doesn't use it, the system just doesn't use it while the game is running (gestures at least, still got voice commands). It's like say older consoles and 2 controllers, if the game is single

the gestures are pretty broken for me. They need to be tweaked, but it's very low on the list of stuff I want.

did you not read the article? It clearly states that it does not matter if the kinect is connected or not it is the developers decision to chooseto have the game Kinect enable. If the developer enables the kinect they lose out on the extra gpu power, if they opt to not use the kinect (like bungie has with destiny)

A game where you struggle against physics and have to drive a whimsical vehicle?

I think what surprises me most is how much it's selling based on its price. Thirty bucks is a lot of scratch for a game, so that means most people are buying it because they genuinely want to play it. If the price were lower, you could write off its apparent popularity as curiosity, since a cheaper price point would

I also own the XB1 Kinect, and 'awesome tech' is giving it a bit too much credit. Will it become "awesome" in the future after a plethora of software/firmware updates? Perhaps. Until the kinect's voice and body recognition goes from 50% or less reliable to something around 95% reliable, I can't in good conscience heap

"Xbox on" "xbox off"... $100 well spent in my book. love it.

The XB1 Kinect gets a bad rap. It's actually really awesome tech and I'm glad I have it.
