It's been awhile but I believe WoW was releasing content every 4-6 months. I'm sure many other MMOs do as well. And that's basically what Destiny is. They don't have to all be major TTK size expansions but with the right tools they should be able to keep a decent rate. More like what they did year 1 instead of year 2…

A subscription model would help, but if they could push out a DLC for say $25-$35 every 4 months instead of every 8 months, people would be pretty happy. For me, I think the bullet sponge was too....spongy. I get why it’s there, and I’m fine with that, (unlike people that want ultra realistic 1 hit head shots), but bosses and even general mobs were waaaay to spongy.

The only problem with that is the system rewards being terrible so people will lay bad on purpose.

The community seems to be pretty split, between those that loved the first game hating this one, and those that didn’t play the first one thinking this one is ok. All I can say is if you liked the beta for TF2, you don’t know what you are missing.
