The interior in mine has gotten a bit creaky and rattly but other than that I have no issues with it. Some have developed a habit of rusting in the bottom of the doors/door sills and beneath the tail lights. Find one that has been cared for by it’s previous owner and it should treat you well.
As a car guy it pains me to say that the smartest thing GM did was not produce this car. Ditto to Nissan.

One reason why I love my Crosstreks engine bay. Minus one cover for the alternator it’s all engine baby. Oh and the oil filter is on top of the motor. Damn geniuses.
