I’m surprised Kia/Hyundai are not more prominent on that list. In Milwaukee, the prevelence of thefts has gotten bad enough they’re handing out clubs to owners of those brands.

Looks like at least one in IL

Yes. This car has two headlights and openings in the bumper/fascia. Just like the Civics of old.

I believe DMC out of Butler WI still produces conversion vans to order:

Bonnevilles (especially the SSEI) were well loved in our family, but my step-mom didn’t like them for some reason. Dad compromised with a Park Avenue Ultra. That supercharger made that car feel like a rocket ship as a kid.

Check with your local municipality, some of them in our area have mulch and compost available free for residents, you just need to go haul it yourself (we use 5gal buckets or split a load with a neighbor). We used the compost and topped with mulch this spring and started off some fantastic raspberries and blackberries

David, maybe you can help with an old question regarding Jeep 4.0L motors and filters!

I think the title meant to say the 8bitdo M30 rather than the ear buds?

iQ owner here!

It’s been a very good car to run for myself and my family. We bought it used roughly six years ago, and so far it’s needed routine maintenance other than a trip to the body shop (snow + ice + sudden stop because animal in road, replaced front bumper cap and scuffs on the hood).

Having put around 60K miles

That’s roughly the price of the battery for my current iQ
And feel you on the dings and such, my wife’s RAV4 is somehow a friggin magnet for people hitting the doors (blue)

What issues did you run into? Normal maintenance/wear items are obviously expected. Anything I need to watch for as I shop are also things I’m taking notes on.

If I could find one in my price range I wouldn’t mind a Niro!

Looks I’m not as concerned with. Battery replacement also seems to be relatively straight forward and pretty well documented by the DIY community too.

That’s great to hear. A lot of what I have been seeing in our price range have been at or around 100K miles of various years. Thanks!

Neutral: How are previous generations of Prius holding up? I’m looking to replace one of our cars and Prius have been on my list to keep an eye out for (though hoping to wait until used car prices become less nuts), but I’m not familiar with how well older generations have held up over times/miles.

To give some

Go look at the parking lot of any upper income high school or private school, and you’ll see more than a few bad decisions.

Among the worst was giving a student a brand new Tahoe with the family company branding plastered all over. Nothing says poor decision like giving a high school student who likes to party a big

If you come thru Waukesha south out of downtown, the big long building along North is where they are built. GE bought them, and as GE does, sucked what they could out of the business, and now it’s spun off again on it’s own. The branding has always been subdued for what it is, so easy to miss.

Needs moar TUNNEL RAM

They are beastly, and will take a beating and keep running. They have a connection to the WTC as well.

Not blue, but a Waukesha Engine on it’s way to a customer.
