We’ve never cared for a “picture perfect bird”. We have grilled, roasted, spatchcocked, and this year we are smoking our birds. In the end, we carve them then serve out of slow cookers because of the size of our group.
What matters is the company and the food. Sometimes not in that order.

I grab mine because it’s so much more reliable than stick lighters or fumbling with matches - starts easy, intense heat. I have a MAPP tank that I am just starting to get to the end of after a couple years on grill duty.

I use my coolers when I’m letting my BBQ rest after pulling off the smoker. GIve them 30-45min, and life is pretty good. Juices redistribute, the temps are likely still rising internally, etc.
