Couple houses down, a multi-unit had tenents that would never put their trash in the trash cans, or if they did, would leave them laying out all over every week. I finally had enough when for the third time, whoever had a couple cats dumped their litter box stuff all over the front lawn.

Tried to talk to landlord, and

I see those from a couple home improvement store flatbed trailers on a semi-regular basis. Usually they’re dropping off bigger loads at construction sites.

In my personal experience, I’ve never had one of the saddle valves fail, but I have had the plastic line fail. The last one thankfully was only a small drip, but still was a pain in the butt. I’ve since only used copper, and never had trouble since.

I still have more storage to put together, but to hold my shovels, rakes, etc, a friend showed me how they took a pallet and placed it on end, and attached it to the studs of their garage. I slip all of my long-handled tools in there now, and I’m pretty happy with it (especially for the low price of practically free).

I think the deal is over - it’s now showing $43 for the smaller pack :(
But, the bigger pack still shows for $50.66

It can even fit in at more formal events.

This year, I’d say my wife has been the most patient: we’ve replaced our driveway, built a new garage, replaced a water heater, replaced some windows, we’re having our first kid in less than ten days, and I still have to rebuild our fence and do a lot of repair work/paint on our front porch before winter.

I might fall

Unimog? Unimog.

I watched these with my dad do practice runs in northern Wisconsin. I will always remember the sound and sight of them coming over the big pines during the public open house days at the range connected with Fort McCoy, and how loud that main gun could be.

Thanks! It was my first significant project in our house (and so far, very far from the last). I learned that even though I really, really wanted a table saw to do some of the cuts, a lot of work can be done with a circular saw, saw horses, sander, cordless drill, and a LOT of patience (most of that patience came from

VERY true!
I will say most of the time it was a non-issue. I had one wedding in particular though that the coordinator very literally escorted my assistant and I away from to a tiny corner room to eat cold cut sandwiches while the rest of the wedding reception continued. I declined the sandwich (snagged the bottle of

This isn’t far from my mini-kit I would bring with me while shooting weddings.

Ugh, I thought I had it bad with the carpet staples on my treads!

Ours had carpet, over a couple layers of vinyl tile or cut flooring, then on top of wood treads. The wood on ours was really bad - unsafe really. Cracked, split, and one broke on me bringing in a load of groceries, which was the start of my project.

Two come to mind:

I’ve also cooked a brisket indoors (middle of winter, and my non-insulated, tiny grill would never be able to keep the temp stable enough for long enough).

I bought one of the Foscam C1’s during the last sale in June, and I’m really happy with it. The setup was fairly straight forward (make sure to update your firmware once you have it running), and recording locally to SD is very handy. I’ve also set ours to e-mail me stills from the camera when it detects motion.

My mom taught me this when I was younger (she worked in a foundry when she was younger). Letting cold water run over the underside of your wrist, or holding a cold bottle/can to it, can give you a good bit of relief, and I still do it.

That’s what I was told not too long ago by someone at a local Home Depot, but I had no way to confirm it.

Well, there go my dinner plans.

This is the one reason I have not bought a Ridgid radio: none of them charge the battery. They’ll run off them, and even charge your phone then, but they won’t charge the tool battery.

But, I don’t often move my stuff around to other locations, so I put together a shop radio. I use my phone for almost all of my music
