This is a good concept. My city requires every resident to pay a recycling fee (whether you choose to recycle or not) and they are very restrictive on what they will accept (no yogurt or sour cream tubs for example).

My father-in-law drives a lot for his job (around the Midwest) and he said that he consistently gets better gas mileage with BP gasoline compared to the same octane at other stations. It's no scientific study, but an interesting observation nonetheless.

@JuJuMonkeyBoy: Some Cable providers offer a "Wire Maintenance" plan (Charter's is $3 a month), which covers everything inside of your house. There's no obligation, so I added it for one month and they came in and fixed the problem then I cancelled it. They would have charged me a $35 technician fee otherwise.

Why do I always search more on Tuesdays? Strange. It would be cool if Google would make public the average daily searches per user for comparison.

@SethThresher: I'm pretty sure he'll be able to join if you are in the military. For example, my Wife's Grandpa served in the Navy, so we would have been able to join, but he had never done business with USAA, and we didn't want to ask him to. It was worth a shot though. They can look up your family members to find

You can also get the Flock browser which is based on Chromium now, so you can still use most of the Chrome extensions.

@WiFi: My Citi card number is always the same as my account number. So when I get a new card, my account number changes. That seems pretty typical, that's probably why they offer 100% fraud protection.

From what I've seen, education discounts from PC vendors like Dell are worthless and you can find better deals watching deal sites. Apple and Software vendors are different though.
