@zipeater: The speed test is pretty interesting, tracks your speed over time.

So did you hear USPS lost billions of dollars? I think they should set up an e-mail system tied to postal addresses, where you'd have to prove y0u live at the address to get it, and it could be like certified e-mail.

@pedasn: Vegan sausage.

@foldor: I'm expecting dial-up speeds.

Mmm, dial-up speeds, should be a real treat. Thanks Google!

@Super Chill English Bro: So one would hope that you can at least get free Wifi while you are still over the US. I'll be testing this out with Delta this December, flying from the midwest to Mexico.

Stinking impatient consumers.

@The Mechanics Of Road Beef: Seems like the 65+ year olds are the largest demographic voting against this, guess they are set in their ways. I sure hope I'm not that stagnant when I get that old.

@achilleselbow: The moral argument is that it's illegal even though it may not be right or you disagree with it. There are many laws that we must obey that we don't agree with. I think you do have a progressive perspective and things will have to change as more and more things go digital.

Incandescent bulbs? At least bust out some CFLs or LEDs. That clock probably has a bigger carbon footprint than my house.

@chrischevrier2000: It works with IE8 and I'd be willing to bet it works with IE9.

@Graviton1066: If my calculations are correct, that comes out to 0.047 miles per gallon, based on approximate aircraft length of 250 feet so it would take 21,276 gallons of fuel to travel 1000 miles? What a chugger!

Is there something like this that allows you to recycle old electronics and computer components and peripherals? For example old CPUs, RAM, Cable Modems, Mice. I always get hopeful when I see new services like this, but it seems like they only want broken iPhones ( I wonder why).

Cool video, but I'm tired of these pointless world records. You can't have a world record for every possible human act...or can you?

@MrGutts: If you're talking about the "This is Gizmodo" video, just click the 'X' next to it.

@Alaska Jack: Wow, I've never heard or seen that before, but it's hilarious. I must be too young.

@Quantum: Yea...while it really depends on their numbering scheme, Chrome has added tons of features in a short amount of time.
