No, in Montessori our belief is to meet the child where they are. Every child moves at their own pace, some faster/slower than others.

I’m working with an org trying to do a push-out for Montessori schools to be in every community and at every meeting I say I will continue to work hard at this but only if we are recruiting and training and supporting more teachers of color, specifically more black teachers. It’s my soapbox and I’m standing on it.
