@ttocs: Shit I know a lot of black people that play CoD anyway. Does no one play multiplayer anymore lol?

OMG Star Raiders was such an epic game back in the day, and Star Raiders II was even better. Might actually buy that!

Very true except for one thing: you picked the wrong game to show to your parents. Fallout 3 is exactly as bad as it sounded to them when you tried to explain it.

@CartBlanche2: Ignore the below post, play Fallout 2 instead :).

Played a few rounds of both, I actually like Invasion Slayer more than regular Invasion. And the Elite Evade ability is totally sick, got some crazy kills rolling around and assassinating people. The needle rifle also is a lot better on the new map than the previous maps... love playing Covenant!

@tetracycloide: "It's not even set in the same area of the country, why does it look exactly the same?" What part about entire-world-annihilated-by-nuclear-weapons did you not get? :P

@metallicorphan: Clearly you don't know much about Fallout because Bethseda took very little from the original, and this preview has more of the original story than all of Fallout 3 did.

@aurahack: Where in xbox live? lol

If in the future I acquire a beta code, where do I redeem it?

Where do i use a code? :(

@UsernameOfTheDead: Wow, could not disagree more. Tried it, couldn't finish it. Too boring. Doesn't hold a candle to F2, 10 years on.

@LeafRunner: I used to like it until I realized there wasn't much role playing as far as the story goes, and gave up. Of course, being free I could just start up again if it gets better :)

Pot calling the kettle black. Has anyone read his books? Article title made me laugh out loud.

Not a fan of his books, don't really care what he has to say about 'writing'.

@Guard: Or are you *saving* money when you buy smaller batches? The mind, it boggles!

@Deanb: It may only have 256 mb RAM, but it also has a ~10 core CPU with massive support for parallel processing, which isn't something you can get on a PC for $599. My dad uses a PS3 at work to run complex parallel data processing. Or at least he used to, unless he decided not to update to the new firmware.

@ShadowOdin of dubious snowiness: Actually they did — there's one particular shot where they view one of the people crouching behind the corner of a wall and pointing the camera/potential—RPG right at the chopper. It's right before the part where chopper is out of line of sight with the people as the chopper circles
