#2 is pretty slick. I have no idea what its advertising, but I would totally buy it.

@furiku: I guess maybe you were typing while I was typing :P.
Why am I not surprised that this thread sprouted a whole bunch ignorance in the comments? All the 'who cares?!' posters can go watch fox news or something, but stop dumbing down my kotaku damnit.
I don't know why bezgo's comment was promoted. It doesn't add anything constructive. Someone cared enough to write an article about it, the fact that bezgo doesn't care is bezgo's loss and no one else's.
@DoctorWhorrible: Well, it was sort of like what was talked about in this article — up until then the game has a bit of forward momentum, you've just joined the Grey Wardens, and there's the big battle, and then you have to escape and so on. And then you get to that town, and suddenly there's a ton of things to do,…
@Desfunk: I'm kind of with you on the towns thing — The point where I got to the first 'real' town in Dragon Age was the point I stopped playing that game. Of course, it could just be that Dragon Age (or as much as I managed to play of it) was *boring*.
I don't even like Final Fantasy (never played any of them, oh the horror), but this article was excellent.
How is this guy not a superhero?
I just watched this after watching the Mad Moxxi trailer and now I can think of one thing and one thing only... co-op online Mass Effect. What would it take for that to happen? Will the sacrifice of a small goat help? Because I WILL sacrifice a small goat if necessary.
I totally want to sneak into someone's room at night and throw that facehugger model at their head.
Wait... Big Daddy snowman + Wii hat... Did they ever port Bioshock to the Wii? I'm confused.
@Diamond Sea: For best effect, play right up until you would finish it, and then stop. You'll be happier. Maybe, play all 4 characters up until right before the end, then pick one to actually finish with. Or just don't. I love the game, but that ending.... grrr.
I do love the Borderlands game world/theme/tone/irreverence/whatever so much. I hope this game has a million spinoffs, and then a feature length animated movie. And comics. And books. Maybe I will write a Borderlands book.
@ca$h is Mr. Happy: Would have to disagree.
There's got to be a meme in here somewhere about writing fake ESRB reviews...
@stoneflysoldier: I've predator'd my own Harrier once. I also vaguely recall sticking semtex to an attack helicopter...
@PhatsMahoney: I was playing FFA.. it was on Terminal and I just got the emergency air drop, fired off the pave low, hopped into the AC130 gunner, and almost immediately shot down my own Pave Low because I couldn't see it in the fuzzy grey screen!
@Cptn.PaxtonAstypalaea(Corsair): Yes exactly, it was mainly for the 3 games reference :P. Also, I've been playing a bunch of british made games recently so americanised (with an s!) spellings all look strange to me now. Spectre/Theatre/Armour/Organisation (with an s!). It's taking over my mind.
@fuchikoma: I'm pretty sure nukes are totally guarded against EMP. I mean think about it, in nuclear war the first one would go off and all the other nearby soon to be exploded nukes would just go dud?! I think not.
@Gyaruson: I just jump down to the ledge with the tree on it. Not a bad sniper spot there either.
