@Evdor: Yeah, MW2 really didn't have all that much advertising. They could have just said 'hey we're making MW2', and that would have been more than enough.

@Covert_Knight: /sigh, Activision could not care less about your dedicated servers. I can only thing of one other game that could be LESS affected by some kind of boycott, and tha'ts WoW. You could get the entire PC gaming community to boycott MW2 and Activison would still be swimming in the money Uncle Scrooge

@Cookiecat: Like I said, my statement wasn't directed solely at you. And I'm not trying to say that the game is objectively better without the features that you're talking about. But a lot of the posts *like* yours, make it out to be this huge personal thing, like IW is stabbing you guys in the back by doing this.

Had the same 360 since Gears of War (the original) came out. Never red-ringed. Lame 20gb HD. Worst I can say is that after several years the battery pack for the controller can't keep the charge as long.

@Komrade Kayce: I think they managed to address that a bit this time with the titles and emblems — many of them will be nearly impossible to earn for the majority of players no matter how much time they invest in the game.

@Cookiecat: "All this leads to companies charging whatever they can get away with. "

@Cookiecat: blah blah blah, crippled this, crippled that. The game is amazing and its an excellent example of what other games should aspire to, with top notch production and entertaining and addictive multiplayer. Please spare me the nonsense about 'draconian architecture' and 'uneasy feeling' — companies make

@BlueToast: Yeah MW2 definitely requires thinking — if you try to just run around and be faster with the crosshair than the other guys you're going to get gunned down constantly. Being good at the game is all about constantly getting behind cover as well as anticipating what other players are going to do and using

I did this in MW1 once, except it was a smoke grenade. #modernwarfare2

I agree with the game being mediocre. The best thing I can say about it is that the user interface is remarkably polished compared to a lot of similar games. There's still a bunch of obvious flaws (why can't I click the character portraits on the side to change which character is showing in the stats screen? maybe

@SpishackCola has the CHORTLES!: the original Guild Wars is actually one of the most polished MMOs out there, and they have a live updating mechanism which means there's virtually no server downtime, ever. #guildwars2

@Sharkey1337: Yeah, I did Hardened in 6.5 hours. Several frustrating repeat sections, but I did ask for it to be harder :P. #kotakugameclub

@Communist Pope: Er,, I definitely had the feel in several leels that there were multiple ways of getting from point A to point B. I mean sure in the end you always have to do one mission before the next, but thats the way these shooters have always been and its kind of lame to criticize it for being an exemplar of

When I threw the grenade in training I didn't kill anything but that didn't seem to bother anyone. #kotakugameclub

@omgwtflolbbl: I do agree that the 45$ issue in australia and whatever other places it happens is ridiculous, but I stand by my original statement otherwise.

If only it really were as easy as pressing a button.

@Karlott: $50 vs $0 is a lot different than $60 vs $50. If $60 is going to break your bank, maybe you shouldn't be buying it at all? #modernwarfare2

@omgwtflolbbl: $10 dollars is make or break for people who live in poverty in africa. In the US $10 is buying two less goddamn happy meals. For anyone else still complaining, this is how capitalism works — get used to it, or start a revolution or something. #modernwarfare2
