It’s pretty disappointing how creatively bankrupt gameplay devs seem to be nowadays. I get there’s a money (read: greed) component vis-a-vis live services, but what a gut punch to see such a great art style be thrown into yet another PVP-fest.  At least give the assets and dev tools to a moonshot branch of the studio…

Dude! You can totally emulate them. Hack a PSP, or install emus on your Android devices and/or PC. Also, since the Acids are both turn-based RTS games, emulating them on a touch device is actually the more sensible route. All of the sudden the PSP onscreen controls won’t be as bothersome.

Seems beautiful, but I just... have no interest in that style of shooter. It was the same way with Destiny for me - gorgeous art, cool lore, amazing feeling gunplay but everything else around it just doesn’t click for me.

The HD collection didn’t include the original MGS if I recall so that’s nice to see at least. Vol 2 I’m also interested in if it finally means we get MGS 4 brought to modern consoles.

This is the thing as well, Sony is undoubtedly doing that market research. Yet some commenters (not referring to you by the way) on a dying gaming blog think they have a better idea of what will make them money. It’s a little baffling.

They could definitely expand the combat and improve the AI. Maybe even let you control your companions directly during combat. There was also a lot of cut content from FO1 and 2 so a remake would be a good opportunity to restore it.

I would love to see FO1 and FO2 get remade with new graphics. The gameplay, voice acting, was already excellent so no need to touch that.. just redo the graphics.
