This.
People always act like developers have infinite time and resources. They would have to hire people to code, balance, and test all the multiplayer aspects which would mean less budget toward everything else and alterations to the core design philosophy. Just because the game is built around a team, doesn’t mean

You mean: Elden Ring spirit ashes, kind of like offline pawns!

TBF FFXV took over a decade (from announcement to Royal Edition release and this is waaaaay more content with something to actually play in between announcement and final release.

But I too would like a much simpler Chrono Trigger remake, though something akin to Octopath Traveler might be interesting.

Right, they even bundled Remake with pre-orders of Rebirth. They just don’t want to potentially dissuade anybody from making the purchase that will be more consequential to their current data points and not everybody is going to want to potentially invest that much extra time and/or money into playing the latest game.

That really put a damper on wanting to finish another playthrough before Rebirth came out.

But Blade Runner is an inferior story to Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep, the book it was based on, so it’s ultimately a lesser story then it could have been. It was cut to pieces with much of the character development utterly gutted, which explains why it feels like dumping into the middle of a story, because

I think everybody is forgetting (or straight up doesn’t know) that Blade Runner was based off the incredible book Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep. In order to make it a film in the 80s Scott went Edward Scissorhands on the story, cutting a lot of the good meat out. It was still a masterpiece of film for the time,

There’re a few games that have piqued my interest but DD2 is definitely my most anticipated.

Really digging the style of Death of a Wish, and it comes out on my birthday, seems appropriate.

Yeah, but time is the worst thing to happen since pre-sliced bread...

Pacing be damned, this sounds almost exactly (Chocobo Breeding better be in Part 3 or else I will undoubtedly find myself quite dour indeed...) like what I would want out of a FF7 type experience.

Today is March ∅th and I approve this message!

OMG that GameNow screenshot debacle is incredible....!

That’s kind of what I loved about it, it’s an examination of the world as nothing more than a mechanical clock, each person just another cog in the machine composing an intricate ballet in its unwinding. The protagonist is the center piece, only as much a person as the ballerina in a music box.

He may not be the greatest thing to ever happen to gaming, but he’s been responsible for multiple franchises that many people really love, and sure, every game is part of a team, but he left Konami and started his own company that is still showing that same Kojimaness that people enjoyed from Konami’s games, which is

People really like to compare him to Musk for some reason, I’ve seen it multiple times here.

This is WB, under the umbrella of David Zaslav... Kill it off, ask questions never, destroy everything is basically his modus operandi.

WB is quickly becoming one of the worst publisher’s in the biz. Though as you stated, it goes even beyond gaming with them. It boggles my mind that such incompetent people can get so far in life, they don’t seem to be able to make a good business decision for anything, yet at the end of the day they’ll still be rich.

Must be talking about Kingsglaive because Spirits Within was a cinematic masterpiece! Ok, it wasn’t at all, but it was groundbreaking for its time, and I still loved it!
