You contradicted yourself right off the bat. Ignoring that, most dev teams for AAA games are fairly large and development advances in stages, meaning not everybody has something to work on at every moment. Just because you have your texture people updating the textures of an old game doesn’t mean that your new game

Modders have been trying to get 60fps to work on Bloodborne for years, and while they have to some extant succeeded, it’s not great, because the limitations are baked into the game, so it causes all sorts of unintended consequences. If any recent game desperately needs an actual remaster it’s Bloodborne...

I wish a KotOR 2 remake would get announced, but you must be thinking about the KotOR 1 remake. Both have incredible stories, but as somebody that grew up loving them, they are rough to play these days. Especially KotOR 1 on PC if you’re a controller player. Some things just don’t age too well, and I can’t imagine

Wow, now the comment section is an article... and not just any article, a slideshow, for as many clicks as possible. A sizeable number of those comments didn’t even seem to know the difference between a remake and a remaster or how dev cycles work... This might be a new low.

I’m sure Batista is right about this being WB, but I definitely went from considering this game at launch to skipping it until a definitive edition comes out down the line with everything included at a cheaper price. And if no definitive edition comes out then I’ll be fine just skipping it altogether.

Foxes are one of my favorite animals and the symmetrical asymmetry of the colors is perfect. The fact that you made such a complex shape stand out so well despite its small size is a testament to your artistry, I used to dabble in graphic design and that is no small feat. It’s doubly awesome that you actually work in

Well, they are going to run out soon, so it can’t be annual.”

I mean you’re absolutely right that most people don’t have the willpower to do that, but at the same time I guess I just don’t feel like most people play perma-death modes in the first place? It seems like the overlap between people who would actually play a perma-death mode and those with the willpower to do that

I actually liked it in ME1, I loved driving around in the Mako and was disappointed when they switched that aspect out for ME2's planet scanning, now that was boring. It was really cool looking around at all the different environments with their various suns, and it was understandable they were mostly barren thanks to

I always wonder what might have been had Andromeda not been forced to use the frostbite engine, how much of it was the actual development and how much of it was development fighting the tools they were given. Still, the thing I hated the most about Andromeda was the writing and ultimately that doesn’t have much to do

Oh for sure, but nobody will ever see any of it and in the end it will all just turn into the future of gaming, a “Bi-monthly Curated Box of Snacks!” Just one though.

Heh, well at least you were giving them the benefit of the doubt, but yeah, they must have missed that option as a kid! Which is understandable I guess, but they’ve had a while to figure it out lol.

I didn’t say both sides are equally bad, I said, “as long as it keeps the people wanting change placated while not actually getting much done that can’t be undone as soon as things change hands again.”

You said it yourself, “The current pressures on the middle and working class are unsustainable. People cant afford

Beautifully spoken! I honestly thought I was going to get dunked on for saying what I said, but almost everyone replying has really impressed me. We need more people like ya’ll at the top.

That sucks about the hack, and that Steam support won’t help you, sorry to hear that. I lost all my old retro games and consoles in a car that died, so now I’m totally meh towards physical media. It’d almost be kinda funny how similar circumstances can turn so opposite... but man, your situation feels even more

Well I certainly appreciate you laying that out so clearly, and you’re absolutely right. Ultimately a “left” leading government is just as useful to the elite as a right lead government as long as it keeps the people wanting change placated while not actually getting much done that can’t be undone as soon as things

Oh wow, I didn’t actually know that, thanks for the info! I was just trying to further criticize them while putting my animal friends in a better light, but that is interesting.

those little families (OMG you’re so quirky what they’re all shaped like star wars characters!”

Of course this won’t be true of 100% of cases but I’m sure those are more for them and their kids enjoyment to see than for you. As somebody that doesn’t have any bumper stickers, while most of the ones you listed are

I don’t understand perma-death modes. Isn’t every game perma-death if you just restart your game if you die?

You’re out there fightin the good fight, thanks to people like you we might get more games like this, I for one appreciate you and your addiction!
