I think there might be a role that suits her, that she hasn’t found yet. Sorta like how everyone thought Kristin Stewart was a bad actress until she stopped getting typecast and started doing roles she thought were interesting.

So I recently went back and watched all 5 seasons of X-Men (not ‘97) before I watched this new series. The show is basically how I remember it, 20 minute commercial buffers with bright colors, Wolverine callin people Bub and ridiculously simplistic character logic fit for a 5 year old viewer.

He’s a good actor, but none of that matters if he’s a shit person.

Neuman is smart enough to know that if she tries to kill literally everyone, SOMEone will stop her. From what we’ve seen so far, she’s invulnerable to conventional human weapons, but I bet she doesn’t want to fuck around and find out if she can get hurt by Homelander’s eye lasers.

It reeks of an 8 episode TV show trying desperately to cram in as many storylines from a seemingly long-running book series as it possibly can.

The problem with introducing a character who’s the “smartest person alive” is that you need writers who will treat her as such. I haven’t read the source material this is based on, but smartness, cleverness or any sort of subtlety is NOT something this show does well. It does loud, dumb, messy, entertaining,…

GF is perfect how it is, nothing could top the 3 part ending that it got.

I don’t see how they didn’t just shut this show down after Conan’s appearance. There’s nothing greater to be done with the format than what he did.
