The murmuration of starlings photo is just awe-inspiring and jaw-dropping. The patience of any of these wildlife photographers, but especially Daniel Dencescu who took that one, is insane.

I can’t wait for people to take all of the wrong lessons from Boy and the Heron and completely misconstrue what the movie is trying to say to fit more into their narrative worldview.

Ok, great for him, he gets paid and Pfizer gets a huge celebrity athlete who’s willing to receive (admittedly braindead) backlash over sending the right message about vaccination, win win.

After purchasing Red Dead 2 on day 1 when it came out, then had to plod along as Arthur going 1/4 speed that other games protagonists did (seriously opening each drawer in a nightstand to see if there’s loot isn’t immersive, it’s fucking boring) and losing missions for daring to go outside the mission boundaries

I mean the baby was correct; movie was too damn long and I needed a nap afterwards too.

Good God that was an amazing sketch, welcome back Kate

He can say whatever he wants, but the fact is they’ll keep turning back to the nostalgia well if their movies keep underdelivering in terms of finances. No “emotional farewell” that fits the narrative will possibly override an extra $100 million at the box office if it means having to stoop to beg Chris Evans for a

“comes off as a dolt”, sure. Kinda just conflating the “dumb football jock” trope onto him, huh? If anything, he’s pretty self-effacing, funny and down to earth, qualities that any woman can get on board with. I’m not a fan of how he destroys my team by always being open, but I am a fan of him doing Covid shot

What does she even mean when she said “which no one ever will”? Yeah no shit lady, we’re not having any empathy for a rich spoilt manchild who’s famous by proxy of his brother being one of the best athletes on the planet, so he thinks he can stick his tongue down women’s throats and get away with it. And he WILL get

“Who cares” is the correct take. But also, she “came out” herself when she said she likes girls as well as guys, so she wasn’t “outed” or “tricked” or anything. If she didn’t want to talk about her sexuality, she didn’t have to, but she’s acting like Variety duped her into it.

...the fuck?

I don’t think it’s necessarily the actor’s fault, I think her character is written poorly. She’s chewing scenery as written, but I think since her “how progressive” comment we were set up to see her downfall, and it’s pretty obvious.

The same kind of people who willingly sign up to participate in a Squid Game reality show competition

Yeesh, poor Selena

All very normal reactions to someone who definitely isn’t having a public hissyfit meltdown that his 44B company he bought is bleeding money because he’s a fasicst-enabling prick.

I like this article, because it’s reporting on a good thing, but also:

We all tried ignoring him in 2016, look where it got us.

I mean this is how you do suspense, keep your audience wanting more. As long as it’s resolved interestingly in the future, which I have confidence in, Noah Hawley doesn’t have to dump all episodes at once for us. Maybe waiting a week to discuss what we’ve seen online instead of gorging ourselves with 10 episodes in

The last scene was actually terrifying, right before the credits. Definitely left me in suspense for next week.
