You ask too much of people that want to find whatever excuse possible to defend this practice. Even if social media was the victims’ first platform, we should be on their side. So many people in these situations tell stories of retaliations that it affects other people from coming forward.

I don’t think it spoils it for me to know that in”A Star is Born” that the star becomes a star. I imagine the pleasure of the scene is not mainly in its plot exposition.

There’s a reason they were selling cases for $19.99. Its a dead style. Every year the sales for the category drop more. And its harder to push out stock. But every year there are more pumpkins on the market, and existing ones are produced in higher volumes.

From first-hand experience, it can take years to change corporate culture. There are no quick fixes, and dismissals and resignations sometimes just end up being band-aids that make everyone feel like they’ve made meaningful change before they fall back into old habits

Considering the first 3 iterations of this movie were all super-shitty, I don’t see how this one will be different.
