Apples and oranges...the movie got made because ScarJo is attached. This movie would not get made if it were a no-namer, no matter how good of an actor/actress they are, no matter if they’re straight or not. It comes down to bankable stars and ScarJo is just that. No investor/studio is going to take a chance like that.

Trump probably think Sacha Cohen is the name of one of his former lawyers at this point.

I mean, Best shouldn’t get mistreated, but also Binks is still a weird-ass fuckin’ minstrel stereotype played for laughs. Defend Best for just being a dude who did what George Lucas asked but don’t defend Jar Jar, come on.

Oh for FUCK’S SAKE.

Hold on to your hats, folks:

It seems to me that the writers are just trying to win awards with no real desire to make sure that the story evolves from episode to episode. Instead, it’s about the acting and the writing so we have small characters who change from episode to episode and small plot lines that don’t make sense (Handmaids being sold

Politics isn’t about “teams.” It's about core values. This isn't a game.

Topics and viewpoints that are not in agreement with conservatives are often dismissed as too “political”. I see it used on TV, the internet, and my own family members. I do not see it used by moderates and amazingly not liberals. I hate how I side with liberals nowadays, but I cannot stand by and simply witness this

Is this a new tactic? I’ve started seeing it recently. “People are being mean to me for voting for Trump. If you don’t start kissing my ass and wooing me to your side, it’ll be your fault when I vote for Trump again.”

And you’re “shouting down” others because you don’t like their viewpoint.

Because the union jack represents the United Kingdom, which is also Scotland, Northern Ireland, and Wales. All 4 of the home nations have their own team.

Why bother suing? They won’t even be paid with this kind of money.

Good luck collecting on that judgment.

IIRC in the normal world, victims typically know their abuser. So their pool of victims will be limited to people that they know, and that the abuser can arrange to be alone with.

When a man gets sexually harassed by another man...nobody ever makes the assumption that the male victim was flirting or were asking for it.

You could make the case we’ve been in a soft civil war since the last one ended.

It’s the most conservative leaning, Scott Rasmussen is a favorite at the National Review, landline polling often skews results to older conservatives and Nate Silver at 538 has called them out previously for skewing towards Republicans. Fox News’ Neil Cavuto features Rasmussen polling almost exclusively if that tells

It is. They only use landlines for their polling which skews their datasets *way* off IIRC.

Uhhh, not for nothing, but isn’t Rasmussen conservatively biased? So much so that it’s basically the only polling that is used on Fox News anymore, because it is so often the only poll that tends to lend any credibility to anything that they’re saying?
