Oh come on Tom. How the hell is one to sell cars that do not physically exist yet? The Cassino plant only implemented a 2nd shift in march and have yet to implement a 3rd shift. You can’t sell cars that you don’t make.

This is an incredibly naive take. 5 months is hardly an indicator of a vehicles success especially

I have fubo.tv and was pretty much able to watch the entire race uninterrupted.

GDI.

The RSRs are no match for the Ford GTs, they’re still too good.

Can we talk about how fucked the 919 is?

I hate east coast time.

Same.

Subaru contacted me back in January. How old is your car? I think they’re trying to get the older airbags that have a higher risk of failure taken cared of first. My local Subaru dealer is going through 15 cars a day that are affected by this recall.

LCP2000 is not exactly a catchy name, but it does mean something, at least: Light Component Prototype, and the “2000" part is just because in the 80s, everything that you wanted to feel futuristic and full of lasers and shit had “2000" in the name.

If you actually cared to read the article, you would find that a single recreational fire releases as much particulate matter as a 1000 vehicles. If people actually cared about particulate emissions they wouldn’t burn wood or charcoal. So I’m sorry if I have a hard time chastising diesels over laughable amounts of

WRONG. Much of the PM2.5 and PM10 emitted by diesels is caught by DPF filters and are destroyed during regen cycles. Of course not all of it is captured and eliminated, there is a small amount that gets released which is still far less than the emissions from the recreational burning of wood and charcoal: http://www.bm

They make more for very short durations of time, over the longevity of the vehicle the amount is negligible.

Los Angeles, better than New York since 1781.

This is pretty stupid and can be found for $30k:

I wish Formula E allowed the use of Fuel Cells, that would be a far more interesting series.

Scandal shmandal. When are we going to look back on all of this diesel shit and realize that the EPA was wrong about all of this? That diesel vehicles, regardless of their increased NOx emissions for a fraction of their duty cycle, release fewer CO2 emissions than any equivalent gas vehicle and allows us to reduce our

Because one is deliberate cheating (VW) and the other is a result of the EPA moving the goal posts, crying foul, and being whiny-ass bitches about it because VW played them hard (FCA).

The engines are emissions compliant, this is about disclosure of control logic which the EPA changed the rules on AFTER the engine went through the approval process. The EPA fucked up here.

I find the claim by the researchers regarding the need to turn off certain emissions system to be completely off-base. They don’t know the lifecycle behavior of these engines, they don’t know what effect the emissions have on the acidity levels of the oil and how that affects the components of the motor.

Exactly, Tesla’s autonomous implementation is pure dog shit.
