Swipe typing and voice dictation beat all.

Right, okay.

No, you aren’t.

Sennheiser HD1.

Except all the areas surrounding Chicago have rather lax gun laws. So despite Chicago’s restrictions, it’s still very easy to get them an hour’s drive away. If the entire country had the same laws, it would be much more difficult to get the guns.

Still an asshat.

Assuming you did, in fact, intend to respond to me, then it seems you’re the one with ass-head syndrome.

You really are an asshat.

That’s not how it works.

Can’t tell if continuing sarcasm or not getting it...

I never said that.

Some people are rich, inept, and/or old, and it makes sense for those people to use this service. Sure, it’s not exactly “hard” to put together IKEA furniture, but it’s not difficult to see how there exists a business which will do it for you.

This is the only thing I miss from the 6P.

It’s not just marginal spec bumps. The Snapdragon processor in the 6P is notorious for throttling, overheating, and just generally sucking. I noticed a major difference when moving to a Pixel.

I switched from a 6P to a Pixel. Let’s just say that I had no idea how good it could be. No more processor throttling, no more camera lag, no more Maps lag, no more weird bugs and lags with other apps and games... buttery smooth. I thought I was happy with the 6P. I wasn’t. That Snapdragon whatever chip in the 6P

I used to think this way. Then my phone fell out of my pocket at a restaurant one day. When I went back to retrieve it, I could see it had been rifled through — apps open, recents showed photos being looked at, et cetera.

TIL: People don’t turn the screen off before putting the phone back in their pants.

Chrome’s task manager — not Windows’s.

“Hard pass” is pretty old, but it’s certainly possible that it became mainstream while I wasn’t paying attention. I’ll try harder next time.

How is this different from other insurance where you could, for example, claim someone stole your stuff from your house?
