You have a valid point. I didn't intend my previous comment to be a call to action for either lady (or anyone else that owns a dog that costs more than my car). Sorry if it came off as bitter or snarky.

Sorry, but $65k (even $3k) is a fucking ridiculous price to pay for a dog. I know that celebrities have money to spend, but, uh, why not adopt a shelter dog for $150 and donate the difference to shelters/rescues who are stretching themselves to the limit in order to take in as many relinquished dogs as possible?
