Well, this almost makes up for the inexplicable dumb decision to demote her and keep Jost at the desk. Almost.

Yeah. I just think people forget it takes most Weekend Update hosts awhile to hit their stride. Like a year or two awhile. It's probably one of the hardest posts at SNL. If you go back and watch early Fey WU, it's nothing to write home about either. She didn't get really good until about a year or two in.
