What I'm saying is that there does seem to be a discrepancy between white couples and minority or interraccial couples. I was giving my first boyfriend a blowjob in a park after-hours. An officer on patrol saw us and could have very well arrested us for a number of things. Instead, he just said "I'm going to give you

Yeah, while I do think the calls made to the police were the result of racial profiling (because let's be honest, if there were two white people going at it no one would care), I understand the officer not wanting to talk to the dad. There's no reason to add another person into an already tense situation.

From my weak understanding, you don't have to show ID but you do have to provide your name when asked. And yes, if you are under suspicion unfortunately the police do have the right to detain you until you offer your name.

Typically, Ostomy bags have a special seal so they won't break open, so it's not like you can just dump the contents in the toilet and dispose of the empty bag.

I thought I did - it's basically a combination of a blind auction and a raffle. You typically pay like $5 at the door, light refreshments are served, and you are given a set of tickets with a number (usually you buy the tickets for a penny each). You put your number in a little box in front of various cheap trinkets

Well, it was a one-night thing as in I left right afterwards and didn't plan on seeing him again. I actually gave him the cold shoulder for a few months, dated some other people, then came 'round back to him.

Tolkien as a metaphor in any situation is an achievement!

No problem - my original wording was shittified.

Well it is a very cute cat. A cat that will wear a hat for more than 10 seconds without freaking out is far better-tempered than any cat I've ever owned.

I explained it in a few posts above. It was poorly written.

And it bothers the living Heck out of me too, because the Puritan nature leads people to not actually talk about really important stuff, like STDs, birth control, sexual health, and consent.

Yeah, it wasn't well-written the first time.

I got a lot of flack in high school because I was sort of nonchalant when I lost my virginity at 18. I was dating a guy for about six months, and it was something I wanted to do. I was fully honest to myself, I didn't think it was true love (whatever the Hell that means) but I did like and trust him, I didn't expect a

Well what I meant to say is that we take sex between two consenting partners way more seriously than we take the horror of non-consensual sex.

No I meant consensual sex. We do all sorts of mental gymnastics to avoid talking about non-consensual encounters or even taking them seriously, but we freak out over sex with consenting partners.

Haha, I always say that I'm terrible at one-night stands, because I ended up married to my one-night stand.

I think they had been advocating it with the logic that women could pay for it via a Health Savings Account. Except last year, the IRS decided that no OTC medications can be paid for with HSA funds.

Ugh, I was listening to NPR and they had a GOP spokeswoman on who was like "well the democrats think that they own all women in matters below the waist, but I am a strong, free independent woman."

It's new but not good.

It's really not. Insurances won't cover OTC medication, and you can't even pay for OTC medication using funds from your Health Savings Account as of 2013. So, you're left paying out of pocket - which is roughly $50-100 per month, something most people in this country cannot afford.
