And it bothers the living Heck out of me too, because the Puritan nature leads people to not actually talk about really important stuff, like STDs, birth control, sexual health, and consent.

Yeah, it wasn't well-written the first time.

I got a lot of flack in high school because I was sort of nonchalant when I lost my virginity at 18. I was dating a guy for about six months, and it was something I wanted to do. I was fully honest to myself, I didn't think it was true love (whatever the Hell that means) but I did like and trust him, I didn't expect a

Well what I meant to say is that we take sex between two consenting partners way more seriously than we take the horror of non-consensual sex.

No I meant consensual sex. We do all sorts of mental gymnastics to avoid talking about non-consensual encounters or even taking them seriously, but we freak out over sex with consenting partners.

Haha, I always say that I'm terrible at one-night stands, because I ended up married to my one-night stand.

I think they had been advocating it with the logic that women could pay for it via a Health Savings Account. Except last year, the IRS decided that no OTC medications can be paid for with HSA funds.

Ugh, I was listening to NPR and they had a GOP spokeswoman on who was like "well the democrats think that they own all women in matters below the waist, but I am a strong, free independent woman."

It's new but not good.

It's really not. Insurances won't cover OTC medication, and you can't even pay for OTC medication using funds from your Health Savings Account as of 2013. So, you're left paying out of pocket - which is roughly $50-100 per month, something most people in this country cannot afford.

Sadly, because a bunch of "back in my day" assholes are justifying his behavior...

But the NFL has had a long history of domestic violence before Ray Rice - Chad Ochocinco, Jovan Belcher, etc.

Exactly - that is why I miss Regretsy. They did a really good job of calling out companies that stole designs.

Good. They deserve the PR nightmare for backing the NFL after all of this. It's sad proof that even companies that cater to women (such as Cover Girl) don't actually give a shit about women.

Yeah, that is not good. I would say that fake bake + bleach blonde is not a good look on 90% of the people that try it

They do know how to dress a window, that's for sure. As opposed to the Urban Outfitters in town in one of the goddamn cutest old buildings that has a window display that always looks like someone strung Christmas lights after drinking an entire punch bowl of egg nog.

'Mommy blogger older sister' is the perfect way of describing Anthropologie. I roll my eyes so hard when I overhear someone say "isn't it so unique? I got it at Anthropologie."

That was beautiful. And yeah, her hair doesn't suit her.

I cannot agree enough. I'm not really a fan of any person or company that just tries to do the most outwardly offensive things possible and then pins it as 'edgy'.

See, but that's what I don't like about Fox. They allow shows like Family Guy, which makes light of serious topics such as abortion, rape, and domestic violence but Heaven forbid a show wants to do a serious story line on such topics.
