While there always has to be a first, he did seem to know a lot of forensic countermeasures. My guess is this is not his first murder, regardless of the circumstances.

I guess you can’t fully dismiss the idea that he could just be a serial killer; however, the fact that he knew she would be connected to him makes you think that whatever happened was an impulsive act—that there was no reasoning and that it was instead about rage or fear.

Well, at the time of the charges they had no evidence of how she died. It’s easier to charge up later than to reduce charges you can’t prove.

If Denmark is anything like the US, there’s a limited number of days that a person can be held in jail before being charged (48-72 hours in the US depending on where you’re arrested), so prosecutors often charge a suspect with whatever will stick at initial stages of the case so that they can go back and amend charges

Manslaughter tends to mean “not premeditated” rather than not deliberate.

Maybe she laughed at him?

How many other people do you think he’s killed and cut up? You don’t do that just once.

Such a terrible, disturbing story. I’m so glad they were able to positively ID her though so her family could get closure and evidence against the perp could be found.

Wait. Twice as in, two times in that night or twice as in two separate occasions? Did she know who he was at the time and just wanted to fuck him for the story? I have many questions.

I love this so much. Not “he looked like a snake,” or “he seems like a snake,” just straight up “that’s a snake.” A time when a direct metaphor was NOT interchangeable with a simile.

I read “dead in his face” as “dead center,” as in perfectly positioned precisely in the middle of his face. He very specifically needs to not be dead so he can be denied any painkillers after the punch.

Lol, I didn’t mean *literally* dead... but if his head just happened to strike the pavement in a mortal way... well, that’s just gravity doing what it’s supposed to do. Just like capitalism.

Assuming “punch him dead” is not to be taken literally*, yeah, sure, I got a couple bucks for your bail.

For him it must have been like looking in a magical mirror that gave him a chin.

I like to imagine what she’d say if it was a Democrat WOC in an identical scandal. I’m SURE she’d be totally fair and not at all gross about it.

Me, in response to this headline:

I have a feeling if you asked Delgado which she’d prefer - $5 given to her directly, or guaranteed economic security for for all children of single mothers...she’d snatch the $5 out of your hand and run away as fast as she could in her seven inch spike heels.

Sorry, no sympathy here. I abide by the following mantra: if you associate with garbage, you’re also garbage. If you belong to a minority and associate with GOP garbage, you’re self-hating garbage. She’s only complaining because she isn’t aboard the gravy train.

He must have felt women less biologically suited to walking on sidewalks

What’s amazing to me is how many people (primarily women, which I cannot understand) over on Facebook are blaming the female victim for this! They’re saying she clearly tried to trip him, when it’s very obvious that her leg swung out only because she was being violently pushed to the ground. Like, they refuse to see
