Yep. I said exactly this below you. My dream in life would be Banana Republic for fatties. Or Ann Taylor! Oh how I wish Ann Taylor had plus options. There was Eloquii, which was The Limited’s plus size line, but they sold it to different ownership and now it’s like high-concept mega expensive stuff that is really not

The only places I can find plain clothes at non-Talbots prices are Kmart and JC Penney, but you have to sort through a ton of polyester, bedazzled, and ugly-print crap to find the few decent basics.

George Carlin said “ pro-life is anti-woman” and that is a true description of the movement,

I’VE SEEN ‘ANNABELLE’. I DONT NEED THIS SHIT IN MY LIFE.

I don’t know about “The Elf” but those creepy little shelf elves have been around for awhile. I have an old ratty one from the 60s that my MIL gave me. Um, thanks, Enid.

who is David Bowie in this scenario

Top that? I don’t think it’s possible.

OR they are over the age of 35 and just can’t let a sentence go without proper punctuation because they weren’t raised that way. Cher excepted because she has the soul of a teenager I suppose.

Winnie the Pooh’ing

My boyfriend and I love Disneyland. :) We always have a wonderful time. If you’re both dorks and if you know enough to go on a very empty day and get a pass for California Adventure (the food is better, and there’s craft beer and a margarita stand), it makes for a fantastic, goofy, magical day.

To be fair, I’m totally for the drinking and hook ups if that’s what they want to do (and the mom in me is adding , “be safe out there!”), just so long as there isn’t the default humor about it. You can still do comedy about it, just be smart with it. Bring a new angle to it. I loved the article a few days ago about

my #1 complaint about the daily show post-stewart: almost impossible to watch it on a device without flash installed. This is in marked contrast to the stewart era, and means that whereas I used to see many segments of many shows, these days I see precisely ... zero.

Oh, Santa Barbara. I had such a crush on Cruz. (Grown up me is embarassed by that)

Soap operas were the shit in the 80s. One of the first things my mom did when we got a VCR was tape her shows so she could watch them after work. I remember in junior high, part of growing up and transitioning from little girl to woman was picking your favorite soap (Days of our Lives).

If I had to interact with George Zimmerman, I’d try to steal his gun too. He can’t be trusted with one.

Yeah, that was the end of any optimism I had left. If nothing changed after that I can’t imagine what could possibly happen that might lead to any reform.

That really was a depressing milestone. 20 kids dead, and the response was still “I’d rather keep my guns then do something to prevent this”

When even Sandy Hook didn’t manage to make a dent in the gun nut rhetoric I knew that no change would ever happen so long as the Republicans maintain a majority in Congress. It’s just despicable, but they really don’t care about people at all.

The only lives that matter are fetuses.
