He’s not wrong - I mean they just gave the CFO a $15M SIGNING BONUS. 

Sure all these peoples’ lives have been upended and they’ve got to process the loss while trying to find similar work, but if the shareholders don’t see balance sheet growth year over year, um...I guess they’d just have to use the money generated by the products and services they sell to fund the business directly

You joke, but putting winter tires on my car halved it’s stopping distance. I’ve used them the last 3 winters and they saved me from being in a major accident of someone else’s causing twice.

Definately sounds like you have benefited from the tax cuts. Your standard deduction doubled, and the tax % for the income brackets lowered. You probably already have received more weekly this year. Need to compare you effective tax rates at the end of the year, compared to last year, you came out ahead this year.

All that means is that HR or you did a better job of withholding during the year. The $2000 refund you usually get is result of poor planning and interest free loans given to the govt.
