This is true. As a big fan of Agassi, I do have to admit it. He did seem to maintain his performance far longer than most other tennis players, though. I think he played (and lost) his last grand slam final at age 35 vs Federer in the US Open? I know he did play one more year but never made it to another final before

Ditto. Great looking, fun little car. The mileage isn’t a SUPER big deal if it’s been maintained, as it appears. But, it’s still just a 15+ year old Honda Prelude.

It’s really a shame, as for a while there Ford was doing a lot of other things right with their cars.

I’m going to get skewered for this, but:

Maybe you bought mine?  :P

I had a pressure cooker lid crack open on me and spray hot steam on my left hand (luckily I’m right handed). Literally the most painful thing I’ve experienced in my entire life.  Do not fuck with pressurized steam, people.  That shit is deadly.  Burns are no joke!

Go check every car dealer that sells mostly cars under 100k and get back to us about the paint.  This is not unique to Chevy’s $60k sports car.

You know there is truth to this. When I got my brand new Focus ST in 2014, I was so careful and always took great care to keep it looking perfect. Then some douche nozzle gave it a big door ding.

Just delete it anyway. I did that about 3 years ago. It’s liberating.

Get the fuck out of here. Pam? For eggs? What is this, 1984? Even if I’m using the same pan that I fried the bacon in (and you should absolutely 100% of the time do this) I still add a pat of butter.

Ding ding ding! For the best of the best, get the Hunt’s with no corn syrup.

I went to both Arthur Bryant’s and Q39 in the same day when I went down to KC with my wife in May. Arthur Bryant’s for lunch, and Q39 for dinner. Went to Arthur Bryan’s over Gates just due to it being a little closer to where we needed to be afterward.

These services all look shitty in one way or another, after I look into them. I just couldn’t help but think when seeing these services: “if there was good, sustainable profit in delivery, wouldn’t these restaurants already be doing it?”

They outperformed until they fell apart, at least.  I struggle to classify the Geo Storm as a domestic, though.  My sister had a yellow GSi hatch and that thing was a BLAST to drive.

Huh--what year/engine is yours?  Ours is a 2.5L 2015 rated 24-32MPG.  I’m of course aware that they don’t actually test highway mileage at actual highway speeds (70+mph) so I never expected to hit 32 in ours.  We have hit 30 once, though, but never got below the 24 as rated.

Yes! Put the pop-ups back in. I fixed my lazy-eyed ‘86 back in the day and didn’t regret it. Can’t remember if I just replaced the sprocket or got a refurb setup. Any headlight updating I’d do would simply have to include pop-ups because the car just doesn’t look as awesome without them :D

We get 26-28mpg with our 2015 model. My wife is a nurse and we have two labradores. The Forester is fairly large (and AWD) to reasonably expect better in real world conditions.  There aren’t really any similarly sized AWD vehicles that deliver any better fuel economy that I’ve seen.  Don’t be fooled by economy numbers

Great Falls Green cannot be done justice in photographs. I was very tempted by a GTI even though I didn’t like it as much as my current car, simply because the color is that awesome.

This is the key. Don’t bother with marinades and brines (or do, but it’s just more work for very little payoff IMO). Just season it with whatever tastes good to you and just cook it to the correct damn temperature.

No need for marinade or brine.  Just salt, pepper, herbs, and grill using a meat thermometer so you don’t overcook it.
