What is she even talking about? Every single globe I’ve seen on television was flat. There are no spheres on TV, only circles.

Conspiracy theorists getting even deeper into conspiracies after getting into government jobs make perfect sense - every time they receive any opposition or don’t get 100% of what they want it’s proof that there’s a secret corrupt organization behind/above the “people’s government” that prevents the “real elected

Texas, I think, would be the next biggest target for “Great for Business Incentives, Shit for Civilized Society” state.

I don’t have the background or vocabulary to properly explain why I’ve loved Daft Punk so much, especially their later catalogue, and why this is a pretty good encapsulation
but I’ll try ...

Multipli-CITY - the clones have moved out to form a utopian commune of all Dougs.

All the Stan Lee cameos are one Skrull that can only shift to that single human form.

That’s not a bad frackin’ idea.

Had a relative with bleeding issues and we went through Hydrogen Peroxide like it was water. Nothing better for getting blood out because it denatures the proteins in the blood and makes all the little chemical bits easier to wash away.

I didn’t learn any of this from school, but I knew most of it from online curiosity.

Was expecting to see “The Distinguished Gentleman” with Eddie Murphy playing a conman that tricks his way into a seat in congress.

Was expecting this one, but I guess it’s less a “debate” and more just a mystery.
Was it gold? Drugs? Marcelis Wallace’s soul?
I think it was trouble.

I would have to go with a copy of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, for it scores over the other, more pedestrian options in two important respects:
First, it is slightly cheaper; and secondly it has the words DON’T PANIC inscribed in large friendly letters on its cover.

1,000% what John said. All the new stuff is just there for people bored with the old material. Make up your own stuff and use whatever you feel like from the (honestly, overwhelming avalanche of) new material.

#1) Dice.
No D&D player will be disappointed by more clicky-clacky math rocks.

One evening my very tired sister cried out in exasperation, “You know I can’t read sticks!” after having trouble reading an analog clock.

Yeah, for a while when I was younger I thought Maher was a progressive because he was an asshole to Republicans and it was funny. Then I realized he was also an asshole to Democrats, and POCs, and women, and queer people, and basically anyone he could throw a barb at. That’s when I figured out he was just an asshole,

I also interpreted this scene as Shuri abdicating the throne to M’Baku - supported by the scene when she bargains to allow the City’s refugees to build temporary settlements on Jabari land, “The people will owe you much...”. Shuri doesn’t want to rule, and M’Baku had been acting increasingly like a leader of the whole

Thank you for sharing this, exactly what was needed.

Now playing

There’s more classic moments from the original Animated Series, but for the voice work I loved the time travel cross-over in Batman Beyond when Old-man Bruce meets (and heckles) younger Batman. The subtle but clear distinction between the two voices was impressive to me.

KACHOW!
