You got things a bit mixed up. Emma's mom was introduced and killed off at the start of season 4. Norma suspected that her son was responsible, and had visions of him throwing dirt on her in the pit. She later went to check the pit and found nothing.

I initially thought the Romero's visions of Norma were cheesy, then I thought it worked because he was going through the same crazy Norma-visions as Norman, only this version was more appropriately heavenly.

This was never going to act as a Rogue one like prequel, given that this has always been billed as a MODERN origin story ala Smallville.

I thought it was a huge writing fail for the life-or-death showdown between Colleen and Bakuto was immediately followed with the spat with Danny and Davos.

Even though my prediction of Madeline being the shower victim didn't pan out, I still maintain that point that killing Marion like in the Psycho film will add nothing to the show. It worked for the Hitchcock film because it served as a twist and as a reveal for Norman, but on this show she would just be another dead

I would have preferred it if they had simply stuck closer to the Hitchcock version by having Marion go back to right her wrong. Coming up with some excuses as to why she didn't deposit the money on time is certainly preferable (to me at least) than being on the run for the rest of her life.

I find it impossible to feel bad for Kyle. They wrote him as the most pitiful and spineless person in existence, so it only seemed fitting that he died the way he lived.

I get the feeling that there will be a second season Iron FIst.A lot of people seem to be chiming in as to how good/average/bad it is, which Netflix will prefer over shows with better reviews but less buzz.

This episode represents my biggest disappointment about this show, which is that the Seven Capital Cities of Heaven tournament has been reduced to THIS. In the comic, the Bride Of Nine Spiders was a terrifying women creature who would rip off her chest so that tons tine spiders would fly out to assault her enemy.

Christina Aguilera was surprisingly natural and comfortable in her stint on Nashville, although it was an undemanding role.

People did complain about Nicola Peltz, but not a lot because her dad was burned in the second episode, so any flatness in the acting could be excused by her character being in mourning.

That beard/hair combo alone likely knock off 15 percent from the show's Metacritic rating.

That's not really a fair comparison. Early episodes of all series are always more lavish than the rest of the series, and Iron Fist is pulling money from whatever is left from the 200 million dollar deal Marvel had with Netflix. I'm not excusing Buck's writing, but they clearly didn't spend that much on this show (no

To me it looks like they simply couldn't afford to do anything visually interesting on this show, hence the reason why there is so much boardroom drama and the CG sections looks like the boat scene in Ringer.

I liked both Jerri and Carrie presence on Jessica Jones, but the writers gave her a super crappy storyline by giving her the case of the stupids by making her responsible for Kilgrave's release from the box.

But don't the whole "colorblind myth" saying is a trap, because you are not allowed to notice and not allowed to not-notice.

The problem I have with with people complaining about a white Danny Rand is that Marvel have shown that they are open to race-swapping characters and justifying that the best actor was chosen. Look what they did with Elektra. She was supposed to be Greek, yet when they cast French/Cambodian Elodie Young they simple

My problem with the AAIronFist is that most the followers clearly weren't aware that Iron Fist was white and always white. Those who realised this mistake actually went "whoops, tumblr-reality".

> Wearing something as a costume is generally considered offensive if it's
done without context or respect/knowledge of the culture.

I do. I feel like the perfect depiction of Norman would be someone who could nail Farmiga's mannerisms and do a decent female voice, which is a big ask for a young actor. Kind of like how Anna Torv did a decent Leonard Nimoy impression during that wacky mind-possession period of Fringe.
