You can create your own camp fire. There were video clips of Link adding flint to a pile of wood and striking it was his sword (has to be a metal sword) to create a camp fire. I don't know whether you'll need a pan to combine ingredients like at a campsite.

The previews makes it look like there will be a love-square between Marion-Sam-Madelyn-Norman, so I can easily envision them zig-zagging by having Madelyn be the Hitchcock blonde that stirs mommy issues and gets that particular shower scene.

I mentioned on another board that the amount of daddy issues on this show rivals that of Lost. Rebecca, Paula, Darryl and Nathaniel all have terrible fathers, while Greg's was a burden for most of his life.

Swimfan seems like an oddly specific reference. Why not go to the direct source of the crazy-ex girlfriend trope with Fatal Attraction instead?

That was a pretty well done fake out. They dangled the idea of Josh becoming more spiritual around the same time as they placed him near another pretty girl, so of course everyone focused the girl being the one to make him ruin the wedding.

I found out that this returned and I'm no longer in the mood to watch. Dumb political storylines were okay when someone like Obama was in office, but I've had enough of dumb politics in real life.

My guess is that Arline and Rachel initally envisioned a show where all the musical numbers take place in Rebecca's head (like in the film version of Chicago) but by episode six it became too cumbersome to have her present for every number so they just stopped trying. Also, I don't buy Rachel's explainaton of

But isn't the entire show based upon them skewering trite rom-com cliches?

The River situation was strange, in that the critics were all into giving that show a try, and yet internet comments seems to indicate that most people hated-hated-hated the first few episodes.

That lighting was certainly intentional. They usaully turn on the back-lighting when transitioning into dream theatre. They did this Sh!t Show, You Go First and I'm So Maternal.

If you go to imdb, you can see that's they've already started. Buzz words like bootstrap, political correctness, social engineering, and safe space has already been spouted. All because they cast a black woman. If Gene was alive today, they would brand him a "SJW".

To be fair with the musical numbers, even season one often had episodes where great originals where balanced out with nothing-special songs. No one here seems to care that much for Group Hang, I gave you a UTI or I'm So Good At Yoga.

I also didn't buy that a girl like her would settle based on a sample size of five, and that she would reject the only good looking dude for being too tall.

But they had gay ass eating in the pilot!

I also heard a few notes from "I Have Friends" after Darryl was pleading for Paula to call him a best friend just once.

My feeling is that the Emory storyline is an excuse to bank Greg for a bit (with him still appearing in flashback/dreams/musical numbers) and focus on the other supporting characters. These first 3 episode have mostly focused on Rebecca, Paula and Greg, and this show usually switches it up, so Greg being away will

I didn't like it. Darryl doesn't hang around Asian Josh enough to warrant the nickname. They should have stuck to what they did in the season premier and had him referred to as Joshua.

Poor Maya.

The way he threw both condoms at the same time seems to imply that they were going to Director of Photography his ass.

Yeah, they toned it done a bit because they didnt want to go as far as the Daredevil movie, where Ben Affleck said that he looked like Ronald McDonald.
