Can’t even argue with that.
Can’t even argue with that.
Please do, and if you can, report back!
Women’s Studies courses also feminize men. I learned about some of the historical and systemic ways that women are marginalized and oppressed and stopped thinking of women solely as sexual objects. THERE GOES MY MASCULINITY!
Yo, need more deets on this situation; also possibly a screenplay and Netflix original series starring Sarah Paulson or Elizabeth Mitchell as the professor also why did this happen to you and not me also life IS NOT FAIR.
I shave my legs and not my armpits as a preference. I always used to try to hide my hairy armpits at work. We can’t wear sleeveless shirts at work per the dress code. But a lot of women’s short-sleeved shirts show part of the armpit when you lift your arms. I felt like it was unprofessional to show my armpit hair and…
In America, perhaps, but in Europe a bare snatch is not the ‘default’. I’d say 90% of women I’ve seen naked in changing rooms have some form of pubes - usually trimmed and neat, or occasionally a bit wild. But totally bare? Not that common here.
I’m with you!
I’ll be honest that I didn’t even know trimming (must less waxing) pubes was a thing until I got to grad school and I started reading Jezebel (around age 25). Never had a guy complain about it (would probably have felt bad about myself if they did at that point; at my current age I’d say fuck ‘em, my body, my hair).
I’m with you but I keep just the landing strip. Boyfriend grows hair like it’s his job so he doesn’t have too much input. I did stop shaving my legs last summer though. I’ve never looked back.
On the plus side, apparently the prevalence of waxing/shaving has made crabs endangered:
Add me to the tiny minority party. I only ever shaved when with my first boyfriend, because I was young and not nearly as set in my FUCK OFF THIS IS MY BODY feminist ways, but goddamn, did I hate the upkeep and irritation that came with that. I just trim once like every week or two now, because I prefer the look of it…
I would immediately dump anyone who insisted on hairless. My body, my pube styling choices. I like to keep it trimmed and within the bounds of the swimsuit, so as not to scare children at the pool.
I am fastidious about shaving under my arms. I do that year-round. I sweat a lot and feel less sweaty when I shave, and I really don’t like the look of hairy armpits. (I would love it if it became socially acceptable for men to shave their armpits, but I don’t think that’s catching on.) I keep my legs mostly bare too…
Also a trimmer. I tried for many, many years to go hairless but my skin is naturally dry and my hair is thick and curly. It was razor burn city, which is not a good look. So trimming it is!
I trim and get rid of whatever peeks around the edge of a bathing suit. (I wax that myself with an at-home kit.) I don’t like the bare look on me either, and I find the maintenance way too annoying and unpleasant for a look I don’t even like. The only dude who expressed a preference (he preferred me bare, I was like…
I’ll also join you.
My husband likes bush and armpit hair.
Hi! I'm in the minority with you! :)
I’m more horrified of the backwards country that created her.
But, but, they are right. God said so. It should totally be upheld.
