I was not a huge Alyssa fan in S5, but she grew on me in retrospect. I have found her quite endearing this season, but I fully recognize her limitations. I do find myself wondering how much awareness she really has of her "-isms", and how much of her behavior is due to advice from others to maintain her appeal.…

Does anyone else think that, although Alyssa's execution was perhaps a bit sloppy, it was really meta of her, a commentary on her well known self absorbtion with her own appearance?
