Good boxing journalism is rare and beautiful

The combination of someone who knows how to write and who knows boxing is just a beautiful thing.

I don’t have anything pertinent to add, but I just wanted to say that this was a hell of an article. I don’t follow boxing or MMA very closely, but I was riveted. VERY well done.

He had an answer for everything thrown at him, and over 13 draining rounds, he clinically beat Cooney up, bringing him further and further from land, reminding him constantly that he would eventually drown in a horrible way.

Tactics is better.

It is all the glory, sadness, and nostalgia of watching an industrial building in your hometown being torn down through controlled demolition.
