This is one of those YMMV issues. There are the people talking about how they banned alcohol at their wedding and don't touch the stuff. There's people that became full blown alcoholics. But the fact is that the vast majority of people out there are probably people who enjoy anywhere from 1 to 20 drinks a week

This is a bit of a misleading article - at least branding it as an 'Android' problem. The writer has 512mb of phone storage on his Android phone. I have 6gb on mine (Incredible - which came out over 5 months ago) and haven't even cracked 1gb of it.

It's funny when I'm more excited about what the custom ROM makers will do with Gingerbread than what Google will do. :D

@JimboLodisC: At the very least someone will have that animation up. I'd actually be surprised if it wasn't already.

@unibrow4o9: I'm guessing most of it came from me downloading Android OS mods. Those are 120mb alone. @quagmire0:

It's the guy from 'Better Off Ted'! :o

Is that $15 for 150mb/month a typo? :) I just looked at my usage to see if I would qualify. With about 20 days left in my billing cycle, I've already burned through 628mb! :D

@flaagan: Lol. Good point. Prius gets a bad rap though. It still kills Volt in terms of MPG/$ . And that's the whole point of this exercize, isn't it?

Lol. I was wondering why I couldn't download it. (Had heard about the free download elsewhere). Gizmodo effect. :D

So.....it's not as good as a Prius? :)

@dotyoureyes: Mr. Gates, good to see you read Lifehacker. ;) In fairness, I will disable the add-on and browse the site a little more to see if it can get past the 5 minute mark. :D

Ha ha. 5 minutes into browsing Lifehacker with IE9........back to Chrome it is.

Kinect isn't for hardcore gamers it is to basically nullify the advantage that Wii has over the 360. It's Microsoft's way of trying to capture both the hardcore and casual markets. Time will tell if it will happen. Personally, I'm not buying it until it drops to $99 or less. :D

@Michael: well, in fairness, Google did market it with the idea that it would be the next evolution in e-mail and social media - and it failed. Now, like you said, there are those that would find it extremely useful for some kind of niche purpose, but that really wont do Google much good. It's still all about ad

@EnemaBagJones: Actually, I think it's kind of nice that Microsoft is continuing on with the Xbox 360. So for (hopefully at some point) $99 I can turn my 360 into a better Wii. I prefer that to Microsoft continually coming out with new platforms while never really committing to the old one. (See gamecube.)

$150 is *OK*, it's just not WOWINEEDTOGOBUYTHISOMG! $99 would be closer to that, especially if you throw in some games. Basically what Microsoft should aim for is two things with Kinect: 1. MASSIVE early adoption - get everyone to buy into the hardware and 2. Kill the Wii with said adoption.

Very useful. It's annoying having to dig through each airline's website and go through their policies.

Holy crap, come out with the final already! I gave up using betas and RC's last time because none of my add-ons worked. I understand the want to test it well, but RC3?? Really??
