It seems a little harsh, hopefully the judge will show mercy. say 2 months community service, followed by 18 years in prison for not coming from a good family. 

I don’t believe in warehousing people in prison unless they commit violent crimes. That being said, the law should apply to an individual case not “set an example”. What if’s don’t matter; what matters is what actually happened.

Rebecca Gomperts should get the Nobel peace prize. It’ll never happen, of course, but she deserves it. She has spent her whole career helping women access safe abortion.

It is not gross. I eat crackers with cream cheese and jam (I currently have a divine raspberry habanero jam from the farmers’ market) all the time. I prefer the crispiness of the cracker to soft bread, but you’re getting real similar flavors there, and it’s delicious.

The issue is that she rides along that line of “This is why there’s so much autism!!” road that we’ve seen her tread before. The philosophy would be find anywhere else, but within the paranoid American nutcases, she’s using a lot of the same words and phrasings we see with the anti-toothpaste people.
