you need to know November is phenomenally wet in Vancouver every year but this is a new level.

Which is exactly what’s great about it. Everything is AWD now. Name another inexpensive manual RWD coupe.

If you can breath, a fire can burn.

According to my divorced friend, a side hoe is always more trouble than it was worth.

Back in the 90's my dad’s business went under and he did consulting gigs for about a year, including the development of what I believe was the very first application of sonar technology for those giant open pit mining trucks. They were routinely running over parked 1-ton pickups and the operators wanted to stop doing

That’s interesting - I also fractured my skull, (at 19, in two indentations on kind of the top right, in a climbing fall. Huh, in 5 days it will have been exactly 30 years ago) which led to a significant change in my sense of smell and taste. Everything eventually returned to what I think is normal, apart from wood

Instead of being clever or creative, I’m just going to say that my daily is already available as a commercial vehicle:

For a practical choice, have to throw my vote to a service body pickup. Sure, Ram has its ram boxes, but why limit yourself to two when you can use the whole bedsides and still fit 4x8 sheets in the bed? Plus, the old ones are dirt cheap!

I was working at a McDonalds and I smelled smoke. Started looking around under and pulled out the grills and under the fry vats for grease fires like you did.

A stair car

They have systems like these at restuarants too. The McDonald’s I worked at had one, and ANSUL system. We were always told that pulling the levers to activate it (they were next to the manager’s office) were a LAST resort. Most fires were usually grease fires - although one time I did set a Happy Meal box on fire by

Wouldn’t mind taking this out for a spin once or twice.

Maybe not a commercial vehicle, but definitely a work vehicle, so I’m going with a tank. It may be slow, but no one will get in your way. If they do, good luck to them.

So if it doesn’t smell like a Toyota, does it smell like a BMW?  I need answers....

This vehicle is what I always wanted to drive since the movie Aliens.

Easy, a postal truck. Small, maneuverable, lots of cargo space, and simple enough. I can't wait to buy an LLV

I sooooooooooo much want to drive through that!

honestly I don’t think the repairability is going to be an issue, if you even have a minor fender bender in a modern car there are so many sensors to replace that the car gets written off as totaled 9 times out of 10. I guess the big thing is going to be if you have a new car have good insurance.

I had made a similar observation, and was lead to documentation showing they do inject molten aluminum into the dies. It's a very confusing name.

Based on their build and their interview, these people aren’t amateurs. They know what they are doing. They just got caught out by the wet season. It happens. It seems to rain every. single. time I try and do ultra remote travel. I feel their pain.
