They really aren’t especially “She.” I drive 30 miles of Interstate every evening and spot at least 3 of these drivers each night. I look, and these drivers are every possible demographic. NHTSA needs to mandate that either dashlights don’t come on with DRLs, or that taillights do. This needs to become a Jalopnik…

I’m not counting on that. They’re not big because of any functional reason, they’re big because that what sells. Electric or ICE, smaller trucks just can’t carry as much freedom.

Very jealous of the 250. Almost bought one but missed my chance, always regretted it. And there are certainly roads I’d drive these cars on, but not many.

Can you keep up with the speed of the cycles with hydraulics? More predictable because less compressible, but now you’re moving and then reversing noticeable mass back and forth thousands (?) of times per minute.

This is one of those selection bias questions which will give the appearance that brand loyalty is a pervasive thing. My vote is here to signify that I, at least, am NOT loyal to any particular manufacturer.

But I think there are more than a few people HERE who don’t vote based on “Reasonable Price.” Instead, I read every day people writing that they are instead betting that someone else will go ahead and be Unreasonable, and deciding on that basis.

I’m more just generally commenting that, almost every day, I read “Well *I* wouldn’t pay it, but someone will: Nice Price.” And I think that’s not a great way to place your vote. If OTOH these cars go for $10k, then that’s the right price for this one that appears to be in great shape.

Gee, someone with a large vehicle equipped for towing but which was not actually towing anything hit you in a parking spot hard enough to damage your vehicle and then left without leaving a note. This is shocking I am shocked.

Porsche makes them for single DIN slots and double DIN. Seem to be going about $1300. That seems quite pricey, but if it’s something you drive for years it comes down to not much per drive. And similar head units that are appropriate for 40 year old cars seem to go for about $500, so you’re really asking yourself…
