This is a thing I love about Lower Decks. Your typical hour-long has an A story, B story, C story, and maybe a runner bouncing along through the plot. I’m amazed that Lower Decks has managed to cram an A, B, and C story into every single half-hour episode. They are functionally (but not technically) writing a

Honestly, the “talking slowly” gag in the crossover made me realize that Lower Decks probably crams in 70+% of the dialog of the 45 minute dramas into 22 minutes.  There’s definitely more than half of a regular Star Trek’s worth of plot and dialog in a Lower Decks episode.

That there’s no way that they could be this clueless over how this was going to received.”

Wil Wheaton talks a lot about his relationship with Frakes in his book “Still just a geek.” Frakes was basically the father Wil wishes he could have had. Wil’s actual dad was/is an abusive dick. From the stories in the book Frakes sounds like an absolutely wonderful human being.

I like to think this all happened due to me, as I saw the mod in question just after it was uploaded, laughed at the crybaby who made it, and reported it. Within an hour, it was gone.

Imagine being such an asshole that you need to a mod to remove a choice for you and only you that you weren’t going to make anyway just to make yourself feel better.

Musk is a US citizen. If he turns on Starlink over Crimea then it’s an act of war against Russia, brings US formally into the war, and makes Starlink satellites open to attack.

If it is true that Musk did turn off Starlink during that time over Crimea, he has thousands of Ukrainian civilian deaths on his hands. I agree w/ the committee, no one person, or gov’t contractor, should have the unilateral authority to make national security decisions.... esp b/c Musk pooped himself over hollow

I see that our “don’t make Putin angry because he’ll destroy the world” Kremlin folks have arrived to the thread.

Why yes, execs have been on a free ride for too long and need to go...

I’m rewatching her tenure and I really liked what she did. I think the writing held her back but she is a gem.

Feels like the argument loses a little in a post Baldur’s Gate 3 world. Obviously that’s not on Bethesda, they had no way of knowing that that game would release and rewrite the rules of an RPG, but it is an unfortunate reality.

So, the Benny kill?

This entire article could be summed up as "Misty step next to Astarion and use Help on him

I killed this dude through the heart with a stake after he tried to suck my blood in the middle of the night.  Didn’t know he was a big character tbh

In case it wasn’t already obvious which side was the assholes, only one side of this debate DEMANDED a media blackout to keep things “in good faith” and then IMMEDIATELY leaked their proposal to the industry trades that THEIR OWN MEMBER LITERALLY OWNS.

Protagonist-centered morality is wild.
