(might be worth noting you can take out the fire breathing statue with one shot of any gun, so long as you shoot it in the back of the head)

The end goal is DeSantis thinks Disney will blink first. He thinks he has all the power and that Disney will back down, stop putting gay people in movies, and praise him as right and good about everything. I can only conclude he’s never actually seen how the Mouse handles threats to it's bottom line.

The idea of this tinpot dipshit trying to pick a fight with Disney is almost funny. He’s too fascist to ever really be “funny” but deciding that defeating Disney is what he’s going to tie his chances at higher office (or indeed a continued political career anywhere at all) to is enough to laugh at him all day long.

Control is exactly what I first thought of too! The banality and sense of space that won't stay put are all there in force.

The most shitty thing there is the "pwetty pwesse localize it for Russia so we can crack it and bootleg it more easily" like go fuck yourselves before the war. Now? Go fuck yourselves backwards to hell. Good on the Stalker team for this response.

The plan appears to be to raid the user info and sell it off the GOP and I guess Russia and China? There’s literally nothing of value in Twitter now that dipshit there ruined it for advertisers.

Why are some people so obsessed with how other people live their lives? Literally who cares if someone else sets the game to easy? This is an optional setting how in the world would me not wanting to have to replay a boss fight over and over impact your experience with the game? It makes me feel like I’m insane

this is the difference between a good designer and a great one. Good ones adapt to feedback and give players what they want and everyone is happy, if stale. Great ones give players what they actually need instead of relying on what they ask for, and often come out far ahead because of it.

The way I screamed when a leviathan jumped me in Subnautica, and now trying to imagine doing that game in VR? Nope. No thank you nuh huh.

It looks like the DLC plans are telegraphed: the doors in the castle. Many of them have a blank spot where a symbol should be. They’ll add in new villagers to bring to town, new little realms and quests, as they go on. Likely each new character or story will come with new outfits and furniture in their theme too.

If your employees might die from medical conditions because of the state they work in, it's not a "political" decision. It's something that you need to firmly commit to or else lose a lot of people who quit because they don't feel safe.

I also feel like modders are in heaven. Instead of fighting over that one empty stretch of road near Whiterun, they can just scatter and grab one of the random procedural planets and make the whole thing over with little risk of conflict with another mod.

I’m not sure it’s even pseudo-, it was pretty A to B. Loved it! But it wasn’t exactly open.

Sounds like it’s the campaign story and open world that they’re focused on when they say it’s different, surely? Shooter gameplay is similar: there’s (up to) 4 players, you’re blasting hordes, there’s special enemies with their own powers. But if this really is open world instead of linear levels, if there’s a story

Eh I don’t see this as a huge problem. We’ve already heard the script is something like twice the size of Skyrim. Not every planet will have a bespoke story sure but plenty will! This is Bethesda we’re talking about, they’ve never really been skimpy on dungeons and environmental storytelling and side quests.

Having so many explorable planets is going to be a massive boon to the mod community. No more (well not as much anyway) conflicts with folks trying to use the same single picturesque valley for different quests or castles.

It was super satisfying to blast them to flaming chunks over and over. Even more so sometimes the red ones would be close enough to also get blasted right off the cliff. All in all highly recommend Blasphemous Blade farming here, 10/10

I have a Faith build and I went in armed with Taker’s Flame and a podcast and jumped up from lvl 150 to 200 pretty fast. It was a delight to not get one shotted by Melannia (Blade of Miquella) for a change. I think it was maybe an hour Saturday morning and another hour Sunday afternoon

Hmm. Faith build here and I rolled credits just this morning...welp I guess NG+ is even more important now

My mimic kept acting as a free heal against Melania (blade of Miquella), while the black knife assassin summon could dodge better most of the time. That's pretty much the only time I've found that the mimic tear wasn't the best summon for a given situation.
