I also feel like modders are in heaven. Instead of fighting over that one empty stretch of road near Whiterun, they can just scatter and grab one of the random procedural planets and make the whole thing over with little risk of conflict with another mod.

I’m not sure it’s even pseudo-, it was pretty A to B. Loved it! But it wasn’t exactly open.

Sounds like it’s the campaign story and open world that they’re focused on when they say it’s different, surely? Shooter gameplay is similar: there’s (up to) 4 players, you’re blasting hordes, there’s special enemies with their own powers. But if this really is open world instead of linear levels, if there’s a story

Eh I don’t see this as a huge problem. We’ve already heard the script is something like twice the size of Skyrim. Not every planet will have a bespoke story sure but plenty will! This is Bethesda we’re talking about, they’ve never really been skimpy on dungeons and environmental storytelling and side quests.

Having so many explorable planets is going to be a massive boon to the mod community. No more (well not as much anyway) conflicts with folks trying to use the same single picturesque valley for different quests or castles.

It was super satisfying to blast them to flaming chunks over and over. Even more so sometimes the red ones would be close enough to also get blasted right off the cliff. All in all highly recommend Blasphemous Blade farming here, 10/10

I have a Faith build and I went in armed with Taker’s Flame and a podcast and jumped up from lvl 150 to 200 pretty fast. It was a delight to not get one shotted by Melannia (Blade of Miquella) for a change. I think it was maybe an hour Saturday morning and another hour Sunday afternoon

Hmm. Faith build here and I rolled credits just this morning...welp I guess NG+ is even more important now

My mimic kept acting as a free heal against Melania (blade of Miquella), while the black knife assassin summon could dodge better most of the time. That's pretty much the only time I've found that the mimic tear wasn't the best summon for a given situation.

Lol they are offering scammed people a stake in a brand new scam that takes guts. "Hey I know all that money you spent is completely gone now but hey if you want you can come over to this new platform and keep spending real money I'm sure this time will be different!"

Game still transphobic? Or did they manage to fix that too?

How is Ark as a solo experience? I have somehow managed to miss it til now but if it's on Gamepass might give it a try.

Its both! NFTs are definitely a scam, but money laundering also works with anything you can pay an inflated value for. “Wow this NFT blew up and unexpectedly sold for ten million”=some shitty person had ten million they needed to launder.

They solve the problems of "profit for C suite types" and "unregulated money laundering vehicle"

The crazification number is 27% :) Around 27% of the American population is always going to vote for the dumbest, worst, craziest, most harmful thing. Always. We might get more than that, but the base for any bad thing here is about 27%.

Repeat after me: it's always money laundering. This one is also a scam, money laundering that also happens to generate its own income, but at the bottom of it, it's always money laundering.

He thinks he can ride it out. No other explanation. He thinks we'll forget and move on and he can keep his vanity job.

“You can go home at 5 if you want. You can also work on your resume and start job hunting if you want. You have so many options in front of you! It's all up to you!"

This looks like an easy fix. It’s just numbers in a data table. It’s no surprise they could make a change so fast.

Could you elaborate on that please? What do you mean it's a startup, and what sort of slack should be cut because of that? I'm not sure I understand your point.
