As far as Bernie’s concerned I doubt there is much in the way of life after F1 - remove purpose from someone’s life and they tend to die off pretty fast. I’d look as this as Bernie staring into the abyss.

I thought it was /‘folksvcKgan ˈbiːt(ə)l/ ?
Doesn’t Bernie still own Paul Ricard?
The air conditioning never breaks on British trains because most of them don’t have air conditioning.
Most of the great art has been born from the restrictions imposed on the artist - the ceiling the Sistine Chapel for example; if the Pope had said “paint whatever you like, I’m not bothered” he would have probably done an awesome painting of a lady with a big sword and an eagle like you sometimes get on the side of a…
The sedan will generally go around corners better. In a sedan, there’s a nice big beam that runs across the car at the bottom of the rear windshield, tying the car together close to the rear suspension mounts and acting like a beefy strut brace. The big open load space of a hatch doesn’t allow for that.
Just a quick note on the English football system back then. Few clubs ran academies - what would normally happen was that kids would play in amateur sides, get scouted, and then be employed in their mid-teens as apprentices by a professional club if they had some talent.
That is an almost perfect storm - the whole…
Most of the motorway network here is pretty well covered by cameras for safety purposes - spotting broken down vehicles etc. Those cameras aren’t designed for enforcement work, but it’s likely he’s been caught by a camera elsewhere - possibly even in the cab of the rear vehicle.
One thing will end the embargo.
No! if it’s not leaking there isn’t any in it!
It’s almost as if everybody on Reddit has been programmed to type like Comic Book Guy from the Simpsons, although they seem completely unaware of it. How meta.
Renault have an all-new engine for next year, so it may mix things up a bit - assuming they don’t do as bad a job as Honda.
Parking though. My old Dolomite Sprint has unpowered steering, and with modern radial tyres and 24psi pressures it is an utter, utter pig to park. It made me feel like this some days:
That’s the bit that gets me about him - He’s putting his car places that physics would suggest would mean a crash, but somehow keeping it going in the right direction. I can hardly fathom the amount of work he’s doing in the car - the amount of steering inputs he puts in (and presumably the same with his feet) to keep…
Selling cars that didn’t pass inspection? Sounds like they might have been Braking Bad.
This is a big opportunity for Palmer. That team is still most of what it was when Renault left the last time (apart from the money), and it used to be a championship winning team. If they’ve been successful in integrating their new engine into a decent chassis they could be in the fight in 2017.
In that one where he’s sat next to Paul Ryan, he’s all “Damn, those are big hands.”
