I don’t make a point of ad hominem attacks on people, but Pence really makes something burn inside me. Not because of his particular standpoint on this policy issue (awful though it is), but more because he’s the backstop in the event that Trump is fired; he’s what the Republican Party, taking into account everything

That’s no hairpiece. He’s just a prolapsed rectum with shit hair.

It’s got a standard transmission in a vehicle that weighs 2100lbs when wet. It even has the ability to be hand cranked. You really don’t need a starter.

That’s for one of those namby-pamby softroaders. Here in the UK where proper Land Rovers...rove, you load up that hook with at least three servings of curry (one must be a vindaloo), rice, poppadoms, all four chutneys, four bhajis, and a few samosas for the drive home. If anything is missing you can expect a stern

Yes, but in many ways designing a car to do one duty cycle (Racing) is much easier than designing it to do racing as well as going to the shops.

Nobody uses a hypercar like that though. It’ll be used for idling through traffic at 5mph in Qatar. You don’t need the power for that but you do need it to be incredibly robust.

It’s a serious point though. The entire season of F1 is 4,200 miles (21 200 mile races) and even if you assume the same mileage for all practice sessions too that’s still only 16,800 miles. Mercedes are suggesting that their engine, in a similar tune to that used for racing, would be OK for almost two years of F1

Besides, in the UK we play it as “Snog, Marry, Avoid” which is much better. And more British.

He was in WW2 properly, so he did earn them.

Your parents were correct - ITV is vulgar. It has Piers Morgan!

I’m not Chris Harris, but I have done skids on both sides of the road. The worst part is forgetting which side of the car you are supposed to get into. I also sometimes try to find the parking brake in the door bin.

Viewing figures aren’t really a problem right now - they’ve started with more viewers than the last series finished, which is something. One thing that was especially important was that more people were watching by the end of the episode than were watching at the beginning.

Thanks!

Interestingly - double the amount of employees in Germany, but the same number of sales.

“Would have broken even if not for Brexit”?

You could write a letter? Both Moss and Surtees are still alive and kicking.

If the difference between a $20,000 car and what must be potentially a $2,000,000 car is just a few numbers stamped into metal, I’d be a bit wary about the VIN on a car that has been lost for 40 years.

This is Nixon/Watergate

Man and tie aficionado here. His ties are custom made. Until I’d seen this picture I’d assumed that the reason he was using the tape was because he’d set the front part of the tie so long (and it scrapes his knees sometimes) that the back part was too short to go through the little loop thing on the back.
