It's a bit of a cheat really. That happened in my home town - IIRC the crane on the back of the truck pulled it over. It's not a great pub, as it mainly serves gassy lagers and has lots of big screens showing sport - the Hobgoblin, 100 yards to the left (as you look at it in the picture) is much better.

We have those here in the UK too. Unfortunately we also have some tight fisted truckers who think a regular GPS will do the job. And then complain when they get their lorry wedged into the side of a pub:

I believe it's the BAIC (Shenbao/Senova) D70, which is based on the old Saab 9-5.

I live in the UK so the steering wheel is (finally!) going to be on the proper side. Plenty of room for me, at least. Britain, F*** Yeah!

How so? the gas and brake look plenty close enough together. The real problem with H'n'T is the relative pedal heights, unless you have really small feet. (I'm a UK 8, which is below average, and heel-toe in everything.)

Technically speaking it is still a Cayenne, except with a lot of bondo, some coroplast, and a heap of cheap badges from Pep Boys.

It's just McLaren - ever since Ron took over they've been a bit "pens in the shirt pocket", if you know what I mean.

Up to an extent - the limit on missing pay is about $725 a week. I'd guess they'd be on more than that, but it'll go a long way to help. The severance pay will definitely be in full according to the law, but sometimes you'll have a better deal in your contract than the law demands.

Fernando looks like he's borrowed someone else's clothes. I think that's possibly the first time I've ever seen him not wearing something non-formal that doesn't carry manufacturer branding.

The law on redundancy here in the UK is a little bit different. Firstly, the notice period for 230 people being made redundant is guided by two things - statutory minimum notice (a week for each year of employment, so about a month, given the age of the team) and a statutory consultation period, in this case 45 days

Definitely that. Quite often you can buy a suit with two pairs of trousers, since they do touch your body and need to be rotated, but the jacket and waistcoat only get cleaned if they're dirty in my experience.

Absolutely. We'll be dropping bombs on the middle east for a while yet, and the F-35 simply won't be as good at that as the A-10 is. Drones would probably be better still, but since the A-10 exists it seems silly to get rid of it.

I'm sure the argument for the F-35 is similar to the argument we have every so often about defence capability here in the UK. Although we have quite a nice military, it's pretty small these days, so the cost of developing unique things is quite high.

This comment cannot have enough stars.

Someone already posted it above. It's the youtube video that shows a smashed windshield with blood on it as the preview image.

Thanks!

Jam first? How very uncouth.

$1600ish.

I think this makes sense, oddly.
