I found a foam bottle divider at Costco or something, and I use that on a shelf in my fridge. Works phenomenally and is totally minimal. Much better than cardboard as it doesn’t absorb moisture.

Well, consider that there are a whole lot of people out there that are sharing accounts with like 3-4 other people. Now you have 5 people on an account watching, say, 5 hours/week. 5 people X 5 hours X4 weeks = 100 hours/month, and that is probably even a conservative guesstimate in terms of hours/user/week.

The last few snows we’ve had have been light, and my leaf blower has taken care of it perfectly. As long as the temperatures are low enough from start to finish of the snow, and the ground was cold to begin, the snow should be powdery enough to just plain use air.

I wish they had a “junior watcher” plan for those of us that don’t watch it a whole lot. Something for those of us that watch less than 50 hours/month or something would be great.

I’d say it honestly is moreso in the service department. With hourly rates being both “book hours” (ie. not actually hours worked) and far in excess of 6 times the technician’s pay rate (I’ve seen $200/hr), that to me defines “stealership”.

I mastered pulling a motor from an RS over those years. I could do it in about an hour on my own without a hoist (come-along & 2x4 from attic opening). I have before and could probably still recite from memory the exact steps, wrenches, and equipment necessary as to how to pull an RS motor.
