If something like this movie enrages you, you need to re-examine your priorities. There are things in this world worth getting enraged over, and a Hollywood live-action adaptation of a anime film adaptation of a manga created by someone who is now basically a porn illustrator is not one of those things.
Ignorance is treated with education and logic, not with demonizing. Demonizing it just pushes it into backrooms like Breitbart where people all agree with each others’ incorrect views. If we react just by yelling, we reinforce the other side’s views that we don’t HAVE reason to think the way we do.
That doesn’t answer criticism of the methodology. This movie simply doesn’t show what it claims to show.
